PPCBank is proud to announce the formation of a new strategic partnership with Codingate Technoloy, one of Cambodia’s leading software development companies. The dynamic new partnership is aimed at streamlining e-commerce and digital payments solutions for merchants.
PPCBank and Codingate Technology Partner to Enhance E-Commerce and Digital Payment Solutions for SMEs
The landmark collaboration was formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 19, 2025 by PPCBank Executive Vice President Mr. Lee Jinkyu, and Mr. Sok Sopheakmonkol, Founder and CEO of Codingate.
Under the partnership, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and other merchants will now be able to seamlessly sign up to Codingate’s GateCommerce – Telegram Shop.
“Partnering with Codingate through their Telegram Shop integration marks a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering seamless, innovative payment solutions. This collaboration allows us to offer our customers an efficient and secure way to engage with businesses, making transactions faster and more accessible than ever before. We are excited to be part of a platform that is shaping the future of e-commerce and digital payments,” said Mr. Lee Jinkyu.
“GateCommerce’s Telegram Shop is a game-changer for anyone looking to streamline their e-commerce business. The integration with Telegram makes it incredibly easy to engage with customers, process orders, and showcase products – all in one platform. It’s like having a fully functional online store right at your fingertips, and the real-time communication adds a personal touch that’s hard to beat,” explained Mr. Sok Sopheakmonkol.
This platform allows business owners to seamlessly showcase and manage hundreds of thousands of products quickly and easily while keeping customers informed regularly about new promotions, recently arrived products and other relevant updates.
Thanks to the new agreement customers will now have access to Codingate’s diverse payment solutions – with PPCBank Mobile App and KHQR codes – in just a few clicks. Mr. Lee Jinkyu emphasised the significance of this initiative in driving financial inclusion and empowering enterprises and businesses.
“This cooperation represents a major step toward promoting cashless transactions in Cambodia,” he said.
“By integrating financial expertise with technical innovation, our partnership with Codingate demonstrates our commitment to enhancing accessibility and efficiency in payment systems, enabling businesses of all sizes to thrive in an increasingly digital economy,” he added.
The MoU aims to promote digital payments among SMEs and businesses nationwide. PPCBank’s financial services, including its KHQR payment system, will facilitate seamless, secure and fast transactions, improving the overall payment experience for their customers, and ensuring that businesses can track their revenue.
“PPCBank and Codingate’s partnership will help accelerate the adoption of digital payment systems while helping bring Cambodia a step further in the digital economy. I am proud of what we have accomplished and look forward to achieving even greater milestones together for the benefit of our people,” added Mr. Sok Sopheakmonkol.
