Siem Reap:To demonstrate love and encourage learning, on August 31st, 2024, PPCBank, in collaboration with Preah Sisowath High School’s New Generation School (NGS), distributed study materials to 241 students at Kiri Meanon Primary School in Siem Reap Province. The event forms part of PPCBank’s 16th anniversary celebrations.

The educational kits contained two books, two pencils, a ruler, eraser, pencil case, pencil sharpener, a small whiteboard, a box of colored pencils, a folder and a foldable hand fan.

“Receiving a full education is crucial for building a solid foundation for society. PPCBank plays a significant role in promoting and supporting the education sector, which is essential for the development of human resources for Cambodia’s future workforce,” said Mr. Nhak Kimsroy, Senior Vice President of PPCBank.

PPCBank’s staff, together with the students of NGS, were happy to meet with those of Kiri Meanon Primary School and hand out the study materials. This initiative emphasizes the importance of education and encourages the children to work hard in their studies as they work to become an important human resource for the country.

This is not the first time PPCBank has engaged in social contribution activities. So far, the Bank has made donations to orphans and vulnerable children in Phnom Penh, as well as participated in various charitable causes, including conducting eye checkups and medical treatments for underprivileged people.
