Senior/Officer IT Server Network System

Role and Responsibilities

• Install, update, and configure database software and database server
• Monitor and maintain database health, performance, and security
• Design backup processes for the database server and associated data platform
• Create database accounts for all users and assign security levels
• Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution
• Schedule and perform regular database maintenance and tuning
• Establish and implement database disaster recovery and database management policies/procedures and business
  continuity plan
• Manage IT Factory to ensure all servers & hardware in the Data Center are well managed & monitored, with
  resource utilization, health checks of Servers, Email system, File server, and other IT systems
• Maintain AD, file server, mail server, and other systems to ensure that all servers run smoothly (24/7)
• Ensure that server security updates and patches are regularly checked and applied
• Maintain user/role management and perform regular reviews
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster
  recovery, and failover procedures
• Responsible for server capacity, storage, and resource planning
• Lead helpdesk support, ensuring timely resolution of desktop application and related system issues (CCTV, Alarm,
  Fire, Access Door, Email, etc.)
• Provide leadership and expertise in system and server infrastructure
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, servers, virtual platforms, and storage
• Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and operating systems (Linux, Unix, and Windows servers)
• Understand IT systems related to Core Banking System, Digital Banking System, Card Management System, Switching,
  and others
• Manage & allocate server resources for UAT/SIT testing environments & production deployment
• Establish guidelines, procedures, and methods for server and application-related systems
• Monitor all servers and applications at HQ and branches, troubleshooting issues
• Backup & restore configurations for servers, infrastructure, applications, and devices
• Manage database access and permissions
• Ensure databases meet users’ requirements
• Write operating manuals and provide training and support for database use
• Devise and implement processes for resolving faults and data loss
• Develop long-term roadmaps for overall infrastructure architecture
• Communicate with other departments to resolve software, hardware, and operational problems
• Plan and forecast maintenance activities
• Governance & oversight of all maintenance and support activities
• Other tasks assigned by line manager

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience of server/infrastructure in the Banking sector is preferred
• Experience with Windows server and Redhat, ESXi virtual infrastructure, and storage with HPE
• Certified MCSA, VMWare is advantageous
• Good conceptual, organizational, problem analytic, and critical thinking skills
• Good in written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the
  business
• Creative, dynamic, flexible, self-directed, and self-motivated team player
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
