Senior/Officer IT Planning

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on IT internal control such as project management & coordination, IT change request process, documentation & report, inspection and regular review

  • IT asset management, including managing IT equipment in stock and movement, propose/purchase equipment, IT related project

  • Contract management related to engagement/purchase project, service and various maintenance

  • Negotiate with suppliers, understand, analyze, and evaluate enterprise-wide procurement requirements for products and services

  • Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies

  • Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures

  • Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations

  • Review, evaluate, and test application controls

  • Provide recommendations and guidance on control risks

  • Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes

  • Assist the allocation of budget/resources, prioritization of projects in the pipeline based on business needs and IT capacity

  • Ensure the compliance with internal/external policy/guideline, regulator

  • Coordinate internal/external audit activities, industrial compliance assessment with vendors

  • Review/update policy, guidelines and other compliance requirement

  • Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities

  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures

  • Discuss and analyze material and equipment needs with architects and engineers

  • Track and report budgets by month, budget variance, and actual budget

  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional qualification

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience of IT Planning or related field in Banking sector

  • Or Fresh Graduation with IT field

  • Experienced of system development in banking sector if preferred

  • Familiar with IT compliance and governance frameworks such as TRM, PCI DSS, ISO27001, COBIT, etc.

  • Good at project management, documentation, report writing, and presentation skills

  • Strong at project management, documentation, report writing, and presentation skills

  • Strong leadership, creative, dynamic, flexible, self-direct and self-motivated team player

  • High proficiency spoken and written of English

  • Strong in written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and all levels of the business
